With its vision of the bathroom as a living environment, LAUFEN has always paid great attention in creating innovative and heart-warming solutions with a unique aesthetic appeal. Style and high functionality thus redefine daily hygiene, thanks to the research and talent of important design names such as Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders and Toan Nguyen.
Sonar is the sophisticated and elegant bathroom collection designed by Patricia Urquiola that enhances the unique characteristics of the Saphirkeramik, the light, versatile, malleable and robust ceramic material developed by LAUFEN. The designer has been able to create a distinct formal language, giving this material a three-dimensional texture. The combination of aesthetics and functionality earned the collection the iF Design Award 2018 in the "Product" category.
The Sonar collection includes free-standing and wall-mounted washbasins, single and double basins, also available in a matt white finish. All basins can be ordered with a smooth or textured surface, while the washbasins are only available in a smooth version. The furniture is available in a wide range of finishes and colors with surfaces of great value such as black marquina marble.
The New Classic is the collection designed by Marcel Wanders studio for LAUFEN. The Dutch designer has reinvented the classic dimensions with a bohemian taste that perfectly blends with a cosmopolitan and metropolitan image, suggesting an eclectic lifestyle. A reinterpretation of classic stylemes in a contemporary guise for an elegant and very timely collection.
The Ino bathroom collection, designed for LAUFEN by the French designer Toan Nguyen, is seen as a reinterpretation of the classic washbasin shape. The objects with their simple lines and delicate yet extremely stable walls appear elegant, inviting and almost weightless.
The collection includes wall-mounted washbasins, washbasin bowls, as well as semi-recessed basins, all available also in the matt white finishing, high-quality bathroom furniture and a bathtub available in two versions.
"In washbasins and basins it is not just a question of surfaces, because the washbasins are made of ceramic material and have all the advantages of this material, it is materiality in the sense of a physical quality that can be touched and felt", according to Nguyen.
